Symbiotic Training Center is a comprehensive program utilizing a 360˚ athlete analysis and aunique expertise in skill, movement, and data collection to lead each individual to their highest level. Training anywhere from middle school to professional athletes, they give each one of their clients the same, undivided attention and care. They named their brand Symbiotic because it represents a mutually beneficial relationship of two different worlds of knowledge, working together to create a greater outcome. After a comprehensive brand discovery with the two founders, Alfa Charlie set out to create a brand identity that reflects that mutual relationship and the values of the company. We knew the logo needed to look good on apparel, so we created a versatile design that people can wear outside of the gym.
Through our brand discovery process, we outlined a vision for Symbiotic Training Center that represents their individual preferences as well as the taste of their target audience. We collectively came up with a list of adjectives that define the Symbiotic style: electric, powerful, sleek, strong, elite, specialized, unique. We translated those words into a mood board to align our vision and begin the logo creation process.
The final logo presented to the Symbiotic team is a timeless testament to the meaning behind their brand name. We used the concept of the yin and yang to bring together the ‘S’ shape and opposing blue dots. The midnight blue background paired with the crisp white lines and splash of electric blue allows for a powerful, vibrant aesthetic that translates beautifully onto apparel, accessories, signage, and more.
We complimented the Symbiotic Training branding with a clean and functional WordPress website. We worked with their team to gather content and build a foundation for a long-term resource website for their athletes and other trainers. In addition to their blog, we made sure their information was presented in a simple and easy to understand way so potential clients can easily contact them for assessments.
